The 8th May 1945 – VE Day – brought an end to nearly six years of a war that had cost the lives of millions, had destroyed homes, families and cities, while bringing huge suffering and provations to the populations of entire contries.
This is a day cemented in history all around Europe and there is no better way to be a part of it than to be in the head of London, during the 75th anniversary.
You will get to take part in the city’s celebrations themselves but will also learn more about this turbulent period of history in a very unique way.
1pm – Live commentary detailing the celebrations in 1945 on-board a themed cruise.
3pm – A traditional English afternoon tea will be served in a 4* Central London Hotel to refuel after the cruise.
3:30pm – There will be live 1940’s inspired insgers whilch create a truely incredible atmosphere whilst you tuck into your afternoon tea.
5pm – The inspirational journey of VE Day will be coming to an end around this time.
