After doing all the local pick-ups we will being the Journey to the wonderful, historic city of bath
famous for the roman baths and connections to Jane Austen, during our stay you will treated to a
mornings walking tour, you will have a full day to explore the historic city of Bath, a designated
World Heritage Site. This beautiful Georgian city is famed for its thermal water springs, stunning
architecture, beautiful abbey and flower filled streets, parks and gardens
We will be staying at the Francis Hotel Located on the prestigious Queen Square in the heart of
Bath, the Grade 1 listed Francis Hotel opened in 1884 and remains one of the most famous hotels
in the city. The hotel has 98 stylish and beautifully decorated bedrooms all equipped with air
conditioning, a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The brasserie style restaurant is
bright and traditional in design, the bar is stylish and cosy and there is also a luxurious lounge
located to the front of the hotel.
On our explores, we enjoy a 90-minute Regency Walking Tour, which incorporates a blend of
history, humour and scandal as we take in the city’s famed sights. We see the exquisite Pulteney
Bridge, the spectacular Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Thermae Bath Spa, the historic Theatre
Royal, the Queen Square of Georgian houses, the unique Circus street of large townhouses and the
sweeping Royal Crescent row of houses. During the day we also tuck into afternoon tea in either
The Pump Room Restaurant or the Roman Baths Kitchen.
On our return to Back home we will be taking you to Salisbury for a chance to look round, with
time to grab some lunch and visit the cathedral with it vast spire which can be seen from miles
around, upon leaving Salisbury we will take a slow drive past Stonehenge for a chance for you to
take pictures.
